AI4WORK | THE PROJECT

METHODOLOGY

The overall approach of AI4Work is presented in Figure 1. The research and innovation in AI4Work will be strongly user (pilot) -driven, bottom-up. Based on the analysis of the needs concerning human-AI collaboration in 6 pilots and wider communities, the overall concept of the project – AI4Work concept of sharing work among humans and AI/robots – will be designed. This will include an initial definition of the methodology and concepts of human centred AI/robotics services, BBs for supporting sharing of work between humans and AI/robots, as well as DT Service Platform, including Human Operator DT. Based on this initial concept the consortium will elaborate MethodologyFramework, human centred AI/robots services, BBs for supporting human/AI/robots collaboration aiming to improve working conditions, as well as DT Service Platform . The development of SW and the platform will strongly follow the methods developed within Methodology Framework, including co-design with users in pilots (engaging employees in pilots in co-design of AI solutions). The developed solutions will be elaborated and applied within 6 pilots. The AI services and BBs will be developed as generic solutions and integrated at the platform and then customised for each pilot. The solutions will be thoroughly tested and verified within the pilots, assessing the defined KPIs. The feedback from development and testing of the solutions will be used for further their enhancement. The process will be iterative with 2 main iterations: early prototype (EP) and full prototype (FP).
