AI4WORK | THE PROJECT
OBJECTIVES
The objective of the project is to provide practical solutions to effective human-centred AI/robots support of work in several domains. The overall project objective will be achieved by fulfilling the specific objectives, addressing different key challenges.
Objective #1
Develop a Methodological Framework to support trustworthy AI and robotics for improvement of work conditions in diverse domains – logistics, manufacturing, construction, healthcare, education and agriculture.
Objective #2
Enhance a set of explainable, transparent, fair, accurate and robust AI/robots models/services to support work in organisations based on data mining, extreme analytics, pattern detection in big data, (deep) machine learning, etc., to be applied in large scale pilots.
Objective #3
Allow for effective work sharing among humans and AI/robots in different organisations by developing a set of Building Blocks (BBs) to support Sliding Work Sharing (SWS).
Objective #4
A reference Digital Twin Service Platform (DTP) for a secure and reliable development of human –centred AI/robotics-based work in different environments aligned with the mainstream reference architectures.
Objective #5
Apply the Methodological Framework, Platform and Services within 6 Large scale Pilots from different domains (manufacturing, logistics, construction, healthcare, education, agriculture selected based on assessment criteria to assure maximum impact), aiming to demonstrate the scalability and extensibility of solutions, in various sectors and for diverse types of human-AI interactions, assuring active involvement of users.
Objective #6
Define and assess a set of innovative Key Performance Indices (KPIs) on social and economic benefits of using AI/robots in organisations.
Objective #7
Provide recommendations to standardisation and a roadmap to further research human-centred AI/robots approaches and data sharing, ensuring that platform and services are built upon existing standards.
Objective #8
Develop a credible business plan and business cases that ensures long-term deployment and profitability of the Framework, Platform and Services.
Objective #9
Widely disseminate the Framework and tools to audiences in various domains, and assure effective collaboration with other projects and initiatives.
